Sampdoria coach Gigi del Neri was full of praise for Antonio Cassano after victory over Udinese.

The 3-1 defeat of Udinese followed on from their stoppage-time win at Catania last week for a 100 per cent record.

"We have our own philosophy of football and maintain that at all times," explained the Coach who took over this summer.

"Udinese are a very strong side who play well, but we were concentrated and deserved the victory."

Cassano was the centre of attention, creating one goal with a backheel flick, scoring another and seeing a penalty saved.

"Cassano is willing to work very hard for his teammates and really helps everyone out with the tactical side of things.

"All the players are doing well and these wins can help us work better in the future. We are trying to construct a team that has a precise identity."
