Sampdoria chief Beppe Marotta has confirmed their interest in Fiorentina winger Franco Semioli.

"We are looking for a wide-player," Marotta said. "Semioli fits the bill, but we must come to an agreement with his club about a fee.

"We will meet with Fiorentina in the coming days."
