Samir Nasri: I can handle Arsenal pressure, knockers

Samir Nasri insists he won't wilt under the pressure at a club of Arsenal's size.

Nasri, 21, said: "It's similar to Marseille because they are the biggest club in France and people try to criticise them a little bit.

"There is lots of relentless criticism about Arsenal that isn't fair. But now it's up to us to stop talking, to work hard at training and to show on the pitch that everything being written is nonsense.

"We know the quality we have, we know what's in our dressing room and that everything is OK at the club. So we can prove them wrong."

He added: "I'm very pleased with my four months here so far. The atmosphere is excellent and the club are like a real family. The time I've spent here has been really special.

"Working with this team and the boss has been great and I feel very comfortable with them. So my integration has come about very quickly.

"I knew a good number of the players already from the French national team. I knew the boss very well, too.

"I got to know a lot about the English league during my time with France. It made things easier and I can put my good start down to that. I hope my adaptation can continue as well as it has begun."
