Real Salt Lake midfielder Kyle Beckerman feels strongly that his teammates were not committed enough in their 2-1 loss to San Jose at the weekend.
Speaking to reporters after the game, Beckerman said, "We came out bright tonight, had a good chance in the beginning of the game to score and if you put that away the story of the game changes. But, we weren't that tight on set pieces and San Jose came up with big saves.
"Then we came out flat in the second half and they came out with more energy. Not all 11 guys were committed to defence in the second half. We needed to concentrate and weather the storm defensively for the rest of the game and weren't able to do it so they scored a goal to win it."
