Salley signs with Chengdu Blades

Ivorian-born Australian midfielder Jonas Salley has left Shaanxi Chanba to sign with Chinese Super League promotion winners Chengdu Blades.

The 29-year old former Adelaide United middle man has been with Shaanxi for the past two CSL seasons but has joined the Blades ahead of the 2011 campaign after they finished second in League One last year.

Salley, who already has 56 games experience in China's top league, will link up with former Central Coast Mariners coach Lawrie McKinna who has taken the top job at Chengdu.

He will also join fellow former A-League players Adam Kwasnik (on loan) and Brendon Santalab at the Chengdu Sports Centre.
