Chelsea's young Israeli striker Ben Sahar is delighted with the progress he's made at Stamford Bridge.
"I think I had a great season after starting off in the youth team. But I know I will have to work hard to be involved in the first-team squad more. Hopefully I will continue to develop and achieve even more next season," he told the Daily Mail.
Signed as a promising youth-team striker, the 17-year-old has now made five first-team appearances and become the club's youngest-ever international goal scorer after netting twice against Estonia.
"All the players, including the staff, are helping me. I'm still young and Chelsea is the best club for me to learn and develop at.
"There is a big difference between reserve team football and the first team. You play with a high intensity in front of a big crowd and it's something I have to get used to.
"I have had a couple of decent chances to score, the best was when Kieran Lee cleared my effort off the line for Manchester United. I'd love to have scored a goal for Chelsea last season like I did with Israel."
