Arsenal fullback Bacary Sagna was pleased with their friendly victory over Malaysia.
The French full back came off the bench during the second half of the tourists' 4-0 win in front of a crowd approaching 70,000. By then Aaron Ramsey, Theo Walcott and Carlos Vela had given Arsenal a three-goal lead and Tomas Rosicky added a fourth in the last minute.
Sagna looked sharp during his brief cameo and he believes that the Malaysia XI were ideal opponents at this stage of the summer.
"Their players are hungry and made the first half difficult," Sagna told arsenal.com. "After they were a bit tired but I think we played a good team today.
"We had the game under control but they did well. We were getting ready for the new season but they just played, they didn't wait for us."
