SACKED! Middlesbrough axe Chris Wilder

Chris Wilder has been sacked by Middlesbrough.

Former Sheffield United manager Wilder has been relieved of his duties at Middlesbrough this morning.

Boro currently sit 22nd in the Championship having won just two of their first 11 fixtures this season.

Leo Percovich will take over first team affairs in the interim basis, assisted by Craig Liddle, Mark Tinkler and Lee Cattermole.

Wilder leaves the Riverside after 11 months in charge.
