Former AC Milan and Italy coach Arrigo Sacchi hopes Luciano Spalletti bounces back immediately from his departure from Roma.

Sacchi said: "I wish for Spalletti to immediately return to another important club. His club played football that few of us have seen in Italy.

"I did not call him, I only sent an sms and he replied.

"I don't know why he resigned, but when a person finds himself in such a situation, it shows great dignity and professionalism to make such a decision. You cannot question him."
