Former Parma chief Arrigo Sacchi has revealed his old club attempted to sign Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo.
Sacchi admits they attempted to buy Ronaldo as a 16 year-old.
"When I was technical at Parma we tried to buy Cristiano Ronaldo from Sporting Lisbon," he said.
"He would have cost 11m.
"To tell you the truth, I like Cristiano the most when he was at Manchester United. No one had an instinct for goal like he did then."
