Former Real Madrid GM Arrigo Sacchi feels his old club can do the Liga and Champions League Double this season. Sacchi is full of praise for the work Jose Mourinho is doing at Real.

"The Liga is in the hands of Madrid. I think (president) Florentino (Perez) and Mourinho will not let go of the title. They have too much character and strength. They have a team that is always improving in their play.

"They're very, very close to matching the best of Barcelona in the last three years. Mourinho is doing a great job and Florentino endorses him magnificently.

"I think that Real will win the Liga safely and maybe also the Champions League."
