Former AC Milan coach Arrigo Sacchi is delighted for Monza over their Serie A campaign.
Sacchi worked for Monza owner Silvio Berlusconi at Milan and also GM Adriano Galliani.
He told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "I have deep affection for Berlusconi and Galliani. They took Monza where it had never been before: in Serie A. And after a difficult start they had courage and farsightedness and they put (Raffaele) Palladino on the bench, an unknown man. A bit like when they took on yours truly.
"They helped and supported him and the results are visible. Palladino was able to revitalize a fighter like Izzo, he gave ample space to Pessina, whom I know well and he's a golden boy, he has a winger like Carlos Augusto. And then in the league he beat Juve twice, at home and away.
"I imagine Berlusconi's joy at these successes. I really think Palladino is making him happy."
