Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart remained defiant after he led his side to a 1-0 victory over Tottenham on Sunday.

Last season's Premier League champions went three points of third-placed Arsenal thanks to Sergio Aguero's 29th-minute goal at White Hart Lane.

Despite the win, City could do nothing to stop Chelsea claiming the premiership but Hart insists there is still a lot of pride coming out of the Etihad Stadium.

"Today showed what we're about. We did what people have done to us," he told Sky Sports.

"We don't answer to anyone, we answer to ourselves. We answer to our fans, our owners, and our players. That's who we are and is how we've always been."
