Newcastle United are organising another friendly for Ryan Taylor as he continues his recovery from long-term knee injury.
The Scouser is set to play some part in a behind-closed-doors game during the international break.
The Magpies want to test out Taylor's knee against top- notch opposition and sources in Lancashire say Burnley were sounded out for a friendly game, says The Journal.
Newcastle beat Carlisle United 8-0 last week in a game which Taylor played 45 minutes in.
