Ryan Taylor is in Newcastle United's squad for their clash with Tottenham.
Taylor completed his first 90 minutes since 2012 this week when he starred for the reserves in a 3-1 win over Brighton & Hove Albion, scoring from the spot against the Seagulls.
Toon boss Alan Pardew said: "Ryan Taylor should return this week.
"It's an inspirational story. "I'm so pleased to put his name on the sheet to travel."
