Russian coach Goncharenko inspired by Leeds, Atalanta playing styles

Russian coach Viktor Goncharenko admits he wants his team to play like Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds United.

The former CSKA and Krasnodar coach enjoys the football of Leeds and Gian Piero Gasperini's Atalanta.

Goncharenko told Match TV: "What Leeds and Atalanta are doing I really like. Maybe someday I will come to the conclusion that we will put pressure one on one. Although at times we both in Krasnodar and CSKA used it.

"What is a one-on-one game - if you intercept the ball somewhere, then this is already a guaranteed dangerous moment. There is a risk, but Atalanta scores a lot, because they are mentally ready for this pressure, the players are matched for it. A superbly selected attacking group that knows how to put pressure, execute, direct.

"This is the football that I really like at Atalanta and Leeds. I hope that I will be able to make such a team. I think this is the future. This is what Lobanovsky did very often, pressing all over the field."
