Russian mob Rubin Kazan and Greek outfit Panathinaikos have played out a scoreless draw in Group D of the Champions League.

The home side were the only team to really produce any clearcut chances but they failed to hit the target as their chances of moving through to the Round of 16, along with Pana's, took a blow.

Rubin are now third on three points and find themselves four behind FC Copenhagen who drew with Barcelona whilst Panathinaikos sit on the bottom with just two draws from four outings.
