Soccer By Ives is reporting that Real Salt Lake have acquired the rights for Robbie Findley from Portland Timbers.
The 27-year old forward, currently with Nottingham Forest, was selected by the Timbers back in the 2011 MLS Expansion Draft before heading to the English Championship but it appears as though he will continue his MLS career with former club RSL.
The Utah outfit traded with the Timbers to have Findley back at the Rio Tinto Stadium with the report suggesting he will be back for the start of the 2013 campaign.
Findley has made 25 appearances for Forest since arriving in January 2011, scoring six goals, and had a loan spell with League Two club Gillingham late last year.
