Real Salt Lake have sent Paulo Jr to North American Soccer League club Fort Lauderdale Strikers on loan.
Despite making 14 MLS appearances this season, the 23-year old Brazilian forward will have a short-term loan with the Strikers as RSL are keen to further his development in a first team environment.
"Paulo is a solid player," general manager Garth Lagerwey said in a statement.
"We think that this short-term loan will allow him to score some goals and bring him back to RSL sharper than ever."
Paulo Jr initially joined RSL on loan from Fort Lauderdale in 2010 before signing with the MLS team permanently prior to this season. He kicked off his career with homeland club Ituano in 2008.
