Real Salt Lake are looking to establish a team in the USL Pro League according to recent reports.
RSL general manager Garth Lagerwey told the Deseret News that the Sandy club are keen to execute a 'farm' system similar to that of the National Hockey League or Major League Baseball.
"I do think that there's a consensus that we want a kind of farm system like the NHL or Major League Baseball," Lagerwey said.
"Which means, at some point you'd have a stand-alone reserve team with separate staff and separate players."
