RSL acquires ex-Nottingham Forest forward Findley

Real Salt Lake have acquired the services of Robbie Findley from Portland Timbers.

The 27-year old forward returns to RSL after a stint in England with Nottingham Forest in exchange for allocation money which goes to Portland.

The Timbers acquired the MLS rights to Findley in the 2010 Expansion Draft but have now allowed him to head back to Utah which has delighted the 11-times capped USA international.

"RSL has played a huge role in my career and I'm very excited to be back in Utah," Findley said.

"RSL is a team that is consistently at the top of the table and always has plenty of talent. Jason Kreis and the coaching staff are very dedicated and know what it takes to be successful. I'm very ready to get back into Rio Tinto Stadium and enjoy the phenomenal atmosphere that our supporters bring to every game."
