Rostov boss: We are in Manchester to make history!

FC Rostov boss Ivan Daniliants claims that his players are eager to create history by defeating Manchester United in the last-16 of the Europa League.

United, who came out with a 1-1 draw from the first leg in Russia, are favourites to progress into the next round of the competition.

The second leg of the tie will be played at Old Trafford on Thursday but Daniliants says his side have travelled to Manchester in search of glory.

"Both clubs have their own history, but we are here to make history tomorrow," he said.

"We want to unite tomorrow and to show a decent performance. We trust in our team, we believe in every single player and I am sure that if we do our best the outcome will be positive."

"I think every single player of both teams will benefit from using a picture of the higher quality," he added.

"This is why I would not like to comment specifically on our style of play when we're using this high quality pitch, just to say everyone will enjoy it."
