Lazio coach Delio Rossi insists they weren't over-performing at the start of the season.

The Rome club have struggled since the resumption of the league, but Rossi says: "I don't think we were, but there were some games in which things went our way and others now in which it's going against us.

"Before we could attack while the opposition created chances without converting them, for example as we did against Torino and Sampdoria. We would win and that increased our self-esteem."
