Rossi accepts Lazio players struggling

Lazio coach Delio Rossi accepts his players are struggling after their 3-0 defeat to AC Milan.

"The problem is psychological and right now we aren't getting the luck either, as in five minutes we conceded goals from a controversial offside decision and a ball we lost in midfield," said Rossi.

"That was a heavy blow, as up until then we had played very well and had allowed Milan very little."

It was the latest embarrassment and a third straight defeat after a 4-1 home loss to Cagliari and 3-1 at Sampdoria.

"We must continue to play in our style. I realise the results aren't coming, but we responded to a great Milan side until the second goal, then it got to our confidence.

"We were 2-0 down and struggling in midfield, so I needed more strength with [Simone] Inzaghi in the area. In fact, he had the chance to make it 2-1 and get us back into it, but it didn't happen.

"We don't really have players who are strong in the air, so we have to play ball to feet and that means our strikers tend to go central."
