Tottenham only have one way of getting rid of left back Danny Rose - paying off his entire contract.

Rose is out of favour at the club and Spurs were hoping to reach a settlement on the remaining money he is due before the end of the season.

However, Football Insider reports Rose will only leave if he is paid the entirety of his contract in full.

Otherwise, the 30-year-old will wait it out to the end of the season before considering his next move in the game.

Rose is not in Tottenham's squads for the Premier League or Europa League this season.
