Rosario Central coach Miguel Angel Russo admits they're in contact with Juventus attacker Angel di Maria.

Di Maria is off contract at the end of the season and has talked up the prospect of returning to Rosario.

Russo said: "Yes, we are in contact with Di María.

"If he comes, we have to find him a competitive team. At some point he will return. We need to improve internally.

"With an Argentina world champion you need a more competitive championship."
