Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney is already taking his UEFA coaching badges - at the age of 24.
The Sunday Mirror says Rooney is joining senior Old Trafford team-mates Rio Ferdinand, Paul Scholes and Edwin van der Sar on a course to become a UEFA-qualified coach.
The United quartet have the blessing of manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
He has previously groomed the likes of Mark Hughes, Roy Keane, Steve Bruce, Alex McLeish, Gordon Strachan, Paul Ince, Mark Robins, Bryan Robson and his son Darren for life in management.
