Ronaldo wants Flamengo ahead of Siena

Former Inter and AC Milan striker Ronaldo admits a return to Flamengo is his most likely destination.

The Brazilian ace has almost completed a painstaking recovery from snapping a tendon while playing for the Rossoneri against Livorno last February.

Siena have made an audacious attempt to lure Il Fenomeno, but he has made his priorities clear.

"Flamengo are in pole position," Ronaldo declared. "But I don't want me going there to be them doing me a favour.

"In January I will announce my decision, but I don't want to play badly in the Maracana. My dream is to play for Flamengo because I have always been and always will be a fan. The real problem for me now is losing weight because at the moment I have 14 per cent body fat.

"When I started work with Flamengo I was at 16 per cent but an athlete shouldn't be over 11. At the moment I'm a wounded soldier but I'm not dead. I won't stop fighting and I want to return to the Brazilian national side."
