Cristiano Ronaldo insists he wants to spend his best years with Real Madrid.

The current World Player of the Year said yesterday: "Those who do not know Real Madrid do not know what they're missing. I want to stay here for many years.

"I'm living a fairy tale.

"Real Madrid is a great family. The older players, Raul, Guti and Casillas, have greatly helped me to adapt as quickly as possible. They are fantastic."

Ronaldo added: "I am delighted to wear the No9, though at first I had doubts."
