Frank de Boer's brother Ronald claims that the current Ajax boss would be interested in managing reigning Premier League champions Manchester City.
?Manuel Pellegrini is under intense pressure this season with City having endured a below-par campaign which saw them crash out of the Champions League at the hands of Barcelona on Wednesday and falling six points behind Chelsea at the top of the league table.
?As a result, many predict that Pellegrini will be axed at the end of the season and now to fuel the fire, de Boer has moved on to reveal that his twin brother, Frank, is interested in managing the Etihad Stadium outfit.
?Ronald told talkSPORT: "Frank would be interested in managing Manchester City in the future. He's already said he will stay at Ajax until 2016.
?"If Manchester City or Barcelona come for him he will still stay [at Ajax]. After that [2016], he is ready to take on a job like that."
?Frank has a contract with Ajax until 2017 but the former Dutch star could jump at a chance to manage a team like City.
?However, he faces tough competition as Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti and Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone have also been touted as possible replacements if the axe happens to fall on Pellegrini.?
