Southampton's latest signing Oriol Romeu is eager to continue his development in the Premier League following his exit from Chelsea.

The 23-year-old Spanish midfielder, who spent last two seasons on loan away from England, can't wait to ply his trade once again in the Premier League after completing a reported £5million to the Saints.

"I've seen many things, many cultures and different ways to play football," Romeu told Southampton's official YouTube channel. "I have learned a lot from every coach.

"I want to keep learning. Now, with Ronald Koeman, it will be a good experience for me. He's a top coach and was a top player so it'll be a pleasure to play for him.

"I have played in three of the best leagues in Europe, but if I had to choose one, the English one is the best for a player."
