Romero says goodbye to Man Utd teammates ahead of Boca Juniors move

Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero is preparing to leave this month.

Romero has reportedly bid farewell to staff at Manchester United as he edges closer to securing a move to Boca Juniors.

The Argentinian, who is out of contract this summer, has fallen down the pecking order at United and is expected to leave the club in this month's transfer window.

Romero, 33, has not trained with United since the turn of the year while local reports in Buenos Aires have claimed he is training in the Argentinian capital ahead of a likely move to Boca Juniors.

The Manchester Evenings News says the goalkeeper, who had been omitted from United's Premier League and Champions League squads, has already said his goodbyes to members of staff at Carrington as he prepares to end his six-year association with the club.
