AS Roma are chasing Manchester United striker Robin van Persie. Van Persie is facing a summer sale after failing to make an impression this season under new manager Louis van Gaal.
Roma have been monitoring developments, but will face competition from Inter Milan and Juventus should the Dutchman become available.
Van Persie has just over a year to run on his current United deal.
