Italian club AS Roma have announced a summer tour to the USA which will take in visits to New York, Chicago and Boston.
The Rome-based club will head to the US in July for a post-season trip with a friendly with Liverpool at Boston's Fenway Park on the 25th the highlight fixture.
The Giallorossi will also play in Chicago on July 22 and New York six days later with the opponents to be advised.
Chief executive of AS Roma Holdings, James Pallotta, is excited about the tour as the ownership tries to push the Roma brand into the US market.
"I cannot think of a bigger stage for Roma to play on than Fenway Park, in my hometown, in what is hopefully just the beginning of an on-going derby between these two great teams.""As an ownership group, we have made growing the Roma brand in the U.S. one of our top priorities and this is a big step in the right direction," said Pallotta.
The Roma squad, who currently sit sixth on the Serie A table, boasts the likes of Francesco Totti, Daniele De Rossi, Bojan Krkic, Fabio Borini, Gabriel Heinze and Miralem Pjanic.
