Italian club AS Roma are looking at a potential summer swoop for Tottenham's Jan Vertonghen according to The Mirror.
The 27-year old Belgian defender only joined Spurs from Ajax in July 2012 but is believed to be eyeing an exit at the end of the season in search of Champions League football.
Roma are currently second on the Serie A table, eight points behind Juventus, and are in the hunt for a quality central defender.
Barcelona and Zenit St Petersburg have already shown interest in Vertonghen but the Giallorossi have now joined the race as Rudi Garcia looks to bolster his squad for Europe's premier club competition next term.
