AS Roma players were pelted with fruit thrown by angry fans upon their return from defeat at Genoa.
Fans 'welcomed' the players back from their 4-3 defeat to Genoa by hurling oranges and eggs at the team bus when it arrived at the Trigoria training ground.
Claudio Ranieri resigned as Roma coach yesterday.
The ultras have made their position clear, already calling for former player and current youth academy boss Vincenzo Montella to take over.
