Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has left Dejan Lovren out of his European Super Cup squad.
Klopp has confirmed his 23-man travelling squad for their UEFA Super Cup showdown with English rivals Chelsea.
A notable absentee was Dejan Lovren, the defender apparently missing due to illness, although he has been linked with a £15million move to Roma, reports the Mirror.
Lovren is willing to take a pay-cut to clinch the move.
Among the travelling party to Istanbul was experienced goalkeeper Andy Lonergan, who is set to sign a short-term deal at Anfield.
