Roma striker Luca Toni says he cannot support Fiorentina in their Champions League tie with Bayern Munich.

Toni is on-loan at Roma from Bayern, but still has close ties to Florence.

"Cheering for Fiorentina would not be fair to my parent club, since my registration is still their property, where, however, apart from the last few months I spent wonderful moments," said Toni.

"But I still have affection for the Viola."
