AS Roma striker Pablo Daniel Osvaldo says he enjoyed playing with Manchester City's Mario Balotelli for Italy.

The duo started alongside each other in last night's friendly with Uruguay which ended in a 1-0 defeat for the Azzurri.

"I think Balotelli and I worked well together," the Roma striker, born in Argentina, said at the Stadio Olimpico. "We linked up a lot.

"I was just disappointed after my substitution that I hadn't managed to score, but I think that I had a good game."
