AS Roma striker Marco Borriello insists there's been no offer from Genoa.

Borriello took to Twitter to deny the reports of a deal.

"There's talk of failed negotiations, but the truth is only one: nobody got in touch with me, I never received any offers, and I never refused anyone. Forwards!" posted the forward.

"I have been training for seven months, concentrated, with drive and passion... I trust in being given a chance on the pitch."
