Roma striker Antonio Sanabria is excited about his move to Sporting Gijon.

The Paraguayan youngster, formerly of Barcelona, has joined Gijon on a season-long loan.

Sanabria told TMW: "I'm happy to be in Spain.

"It's a team where I will play where the coach showed me confidence. And also Gijon is a beautiful city with great fans, this is a great satisfaction.

"I wanted to play for Roma, of course, but there were many ahead of me. This year it was not possible, I'm happy to get to Gijon to have continuity."
