AS Roma signing Adem Ljajic insists there was never an offer from AC Milan this summer.
The former Fiorentina midfielder moved to Roma yesterday.
"Talk of me having a pre-contract agreement with Milan is just a lie. I didn't sign anything with anyone. I only spoke to Fiorentina and we've been discussing the contract renewal for two months. There was no deal, so we found another option.
"I say goodbye to Fiorentina, hopefully an arrivederci, as I've always said I want to come back here. I bought a house in Florence and I don't want to sell it.
"I wish all the best to the fans and my teammates. I'll always keep an eye out for them and hope we meet again soon."
