AS Roma director Bruno Conti has revealed that the club once turned down a massive offer from Chelsea for Daniele De Rossi.
Conti has revealed that the Blues came forward with a bid of around 70million (£60m) for the Italy international whilst stating that the 28-year old is not about to leave the Stadio Olimpico for the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City or Real Madrid.
"De Rossi will stay at Roma, no doubt about it," Conti told Radio Mana Mana.
"I would like to remind people of the following: Chelsea offered 70m for him, a lot of money, but [then president] Rosella Sensi turned it down."
