AS Roma president Rosella Sensi says a new coach will be in place today following Claudio Ranieri's resignation.
Ranieri tended his resignation this evening and spoke to the ANSA news agency, outlining his reasons.
"We can only take note of his statements," President Sensi told ANSA.
"We will not be doing anything tonight. We reserve the right to make a decision tomorrow morning, after a meeting that will include myself, the directors and players."
