Roma are ready to make an offer for Chelsea winger Florent Malouda.
The Serie A side's sporting director Daniele Prade is to use his club's trip to London for a pre-season friendly at Tottenham on Sunday to try to thrash out a deal for Malouda on Saturday.
Since missing out on signing former Chelsea striker Adrian Mutu from Fiorentina last month, Roma have turned their attentions to France winger Malouda, who they believe is ideally suited to coach Luciano Spalletti's 4-2-3-1 system.
Malouda joined Chelsea only last summer but has struggled to settle and Roma are confident of landing him for £11.9m - £2.7m less than the Blues paid Lyon.
