AS Roma have emerged as the new frontrunner for Marseille winger Andre Ayew.

The Ghana international, 25, is expected to leave the Stade Velodrome this summer and could be on his way to the Italian capital according to lesport10.com.

It is believed that the Giallorossi have made a formal offer for Ayew who has been heavily linked with Tottenham and Newcastle United recently.

Roma are reportedly now in pole position to land the 62-time Black Stars international who has been with Marseille since 2005.
