AS Roma are ready to pounce for Inter Milan goalkeeper Samir Handanovic.

Calciomercato.com says, with Roma watching closely, new contract talks between Handanovic and Inter have stalled.

Roma hope to swoop for Handanovic as they seek a long-term replacement for 38 year-old No1 Morgan De Sanctis.

The Giallorossi are willing to offer Mattia Destro to Inter in part exchange for Handanovic.

Destro is currently on-loan with AC Milan, but it appears the Rossoneri won't take up the permanent option for the striker.
