AS Roma coach Rudi Garcia was left "angry" after their 1-1 draw with Atalanta.

Francesco Totti converted an early penalty before Roma was pegged back by German Denis.

"I am angry," declared Garcia.

"I saw a Roma that did not play well. After Francesco Totti's penalty, we fell asleep. There was a bit more in the second half, but it was our worst first half of the season.

"I did not see the necessary grit and determination to take back second place. Tomorrow I need to have words with the squad.

"Not much worked well today, as we all played badly. I didn't like the referee either, so it was a game to be forgotten all round."
