AS Roma have opened talks with Chelsea for Mohamed Salah.

The London Evening Standard says it is understood Chelsea are ready to let him go if they receive a high enough bid.

Roma are keen to take Salah on loan initially in view of a permanent deal worth £11.5m.

But Chelsea are looking for as much as £13m for his signature, even though he has not featured much for them in the past 12 months.
