Roma No2 Domenichini unhappy with De Rossi after red card

Roma assistant manager Marco Domenichini rapped Daniele de Rossi for his red card in yesterday's 1-1 draw with Udinese.

"He over-stepped the mark and let the tension get to him, fired up by the desire to win, but a player like him should be able to restrain himself in these situations," said Domenichini.

The assistant manager was left in charge because Coach Luciano Spalletti was sitting out a touchline ban, also for insulting the officials.

Roma went behind to Felipe's header, but got back on level terms soon after with substitute Mirko Vucinic.

"The team improved in the second half and, especially after going down to 10 men, created several scoring opportunities.

"In the first half we were too sluggish and not tight enough, but considering what we did in the second period, we probably deserved the three points."
